Hanover Park man struck, killed by car in Bartlett
A Hanover Park man died after he was struck by a car Friday night in Bartlett, according to a Bartlett police news release.
Around 9:20 p.m., Bartlett police responded to Lake Street and Oak Avenue, where a 19-year-old woman had hit Gustavo Ruiz-Aguilar, 25, while he'd been crossing Lake Street against a red light.
Ruiz-Aguilar was taken to St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, where he died.
The investigation continues, and Bartlett police ask that anyone with information about the case to call them at (630) 837-0846.
