Life Fitness moves headquarters from Rosemont

FRANKLIN PARK - Life Fitness, a commercial fitness equipment manufacturer, Monday said it will relocate its global headquarters from Rosemont to Franklin Park, consolidating its corporate operations effective July 1.

Life Fitness has been transitioning out of its Rosemont location this month and will begin construction on the Franklin Park facility at 10601 Belmont Ave. in August. The renovations at Franklin Park are expected to be completed in 2023.

The consolidation effort will support future growth and innovation across the organization and provide a space to engage and collaborate with customers, the company said.

Life Fitness will renovate the 200,000 square foot facility with a modern floor plan by adding open workspaces and meeting rooms equipped with the technology needed to maximize employee collaboration in person and across the globe. New work-life amenities, including an on-site cafe, fitness center and more, will allow employees to incorporate health and fitness activities into their workday.

Once complete, the Franklin Park facility will feature a state-of-the art fitness showroom with premium products from the entire Life Fitness family of brands, the company said. The multifunctional showroom will serve as a fitness center for employees and space to host a variety of events, including interactive workshops and trainings for customers. The headquarters will also house the first U.S. based Experience Center, which will showcase the latest product innovations and solutions to support new product ideas and drive collaboration with customers.
