The Mundelein Park & Recreation District's Board of Commissioners elected new officers at the May 10 board meeting.
The newly elected officers are President Wallace Frasier, Vice President Pat McGrath and Treasurer Bob Knudson. The officers will hold the positions alongside commissioners Kevin Dolan and Jesus "Jesse" Ortega. Frasier and Dolan were sworn in to serve for 6-year terms.
Park District Executive Director Ron Salski presented a plaque to Commissioner Ortega on behalf of the board and staff for his service as president during the past year.
"Jesse's leadership went above and beyond during one of the most difficult times in the park district's history," said Salski.
"We wanted to show our appreciation as he completed his role as board president for the last two years."
