When victories and votes count

I'm a bit amused by the argument that Jim Oberweis should be declared the winner of the election for the 14th Congressional District because he was leading before all the votes were counted. Using that same logic, the 2003 Cubs should be awarded the National League pennant and the 1971 Blackhawks should be given the Stanley Cup.
