Arlington Heights offering small-business loans

The village of Arlington Heights is now offering $130,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding to provide financial assistance to small businesses hurt by COVID-19.

The village will provide 26 forgivable loans of $5,000 each to eligible businesses. The funding is provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and is appropriated via the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act Act.

Applications will be accepted that meet the criteria and provide the required documentation. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Friday, July 16.
