Highland Park man charged with child pornography

A 47-year-old Highland Park man faces child pornography charges after a search of his home.
Highland Park police said Friday that Steven E. Habay, of the 1500 block of Lancelot Avenue, was arrested Tuesday without incident and taken to the Lake County jail.
Bail was set at $750,000.
Habay is a registered sex offender, according to a news release.
His arrest came after a search of electronic devices in his home was conducted May 26 by police, with assistance from Lake County state's attorney investigators and a police dog named Browser.
