Buffalo Grove Rotary hosts mobile food pantry Saturday

The Buffalo Grove Rotary Club is hosting a mobile food pantry from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Golf Dome at Mike Rylko Park, 801 McHenry Road in Buffalo Grove.

Area families in need are invited to drive up and receive a box of food and other household items. Individuals do not have to exit their vehicle; volunteer Buffalo Grove Rotarians will load either the back seat or the trunk.

This event was funded entirely by a generous Buffalo Grove resident who wishes to remain anonymous, and who is another shining example of Rotary's "Service Above Self" motto, Rotary officials said.
