Ashfaq Syed Appointed to Loaves & Fishes Community Services Board of Director

Loaves & Fishes Community Services appointed Ashfaq Syed as new board of director to serve on the board effective July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2024

Ashfaq Syed is a senior banker and was associated with many banks in India, Dubai and USA. He currently serves on the Naperville Public Library board of trustees and is a member of the Islamic Center of Naperville. Ashfaq has been instrumental in several recent innovative community-oriented campaigns including 2020 Census Naperville efforts.

Syed has a passion for community service as reflected by his considerable involvement in many nonprofit organizations, which includes local as well as institutions in India, United Arab Emirates and USA.

Syed has a reputation for active civic engagement and has hosted events for the lieutenant governor, members of Congress, senators, mayors, judges and other elected officials on behalf of social, political, and other nonprofit organizations in the Chicago area. He has successfully contributed to Naperville's 2020 Census efforts by planning and organizing virtual panel discussions and producing and posting Census 2020 videos featuring Naperville community leaders and elected officials.
