Beware impact of voter suppression laws
I hope that the citizens of the U.S. like the dictatorship of Putin, et.al. Because if all the states considering voter suppression acts pass them, we will no longer be a democracy. We will be a Republican dictatorship.
Not only is this a return to the Jim Crow law, but there is no way that democracy will prevail. Republicans will find some reason to throw out Democratic votes.
I certainly hope that the majority of Americans will protest against these undemocratic laws. I would be the first one in line if I were physically able.
I do not want this country to become a dictatorship and this could be the precurser to this end.
Take a look at history to see how all the dictators of the world started out.
