Biden's freedom of speech rights violated

America, built upon freedom to all, has and always will shift back and forth on those most sacred words that lay within the First Amendment of the Constitution. The promise of freedom of religion, speech, etc. has been reversed in today's society.

A recent article "2 Catholic bishops at odds over Biden receiving communion" in the Daily Herald exemplifies the freedoms of the First Amendment in everyday activities.

President Biden is being rejected by the Catholic church solely based upon his political position on abortion. This not only goes against his First Amendment right of freedom of speech, but we have also seen this topic of freedom of speech, religion, etc. in other precedent cases.

For example, in the court case Tinker v. Des Moines Independent Community School District (1969) a group of students were sent home by the school because of their armbands that expressed their freedom of speech toward the Vietnam War.

I know you must be thinking how does this relate to President Biden's problem? Well, to begin, President Biden has expressed his views to society for many years and one specific stance regarding abortion. Though contradictory, he is a man who also follows the Catholic religion. The bishop of his church has refused to give him communion based upon his views in political stances with abortion.

This relates to the students in Tinker vs. Des Moines because they also were turned away from a place of leading figures in their lives based upon their political views. This supports my claim to the violation of President Biden's First Amendment right because he was turned away by one of his leaders in his life because of his political beliefs.

This once again violates his freedom of speech because he can't freely express his beliefs in a place where all are supposed to be accepted.
