Waukegan woman dies in single-vehicle crash

A 27-year-old Waukegan woman was killed about 1:30 a.m. Friday in a single-vehicle crash in the 2300 block of Sheridan Road, the Lake County coroner's office reported in a news release.

Shaneera Bell died at the scene. The preliminary cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma, according to the coroner's office.

The accident remains under investigation by Waukegan police.
