Elmhurst church hosts Organic Seedlings Sale May 8
Certified organic vegetable and herb seedlings, as well as a limited number of pollinator plants, will be available for purchase on Saturday, May 8, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the parking lot of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 235 S. Kenilworth, Elmhurst.
Bags of organic compost and growing mix will also be available. Those who preordered seedlings will be able to pick them up as well. Seedlings are provided by West Star Organics in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin and will be available in 3½-inch containers.
May 8th is the day before Mother's Day and plants make a great gift for Mom. Please wear a mask. Cash or checks only. Credit cards will not be accepted. All proceeds benefit church missions. Visit elmhurstucc.org/seedlings-sale/.
