Message for Springfield

Being a father/advocate for my 22-year-old son with autism. I would like to ask every single parent of a child/adult with autism and all developmental disabilities/self advocates to communicate this message to your Illinois state representative and/or senator, when they are back from Springfield.

"If you worked for an employer with autism/developmental disability, as an employee for over 12 years at a company, and at that company you performed out of 51 employees, between 47th-51st every year for over 12 years with no improvement, hoow long should you work there?" See what the answer is and then tell them that is what its like in Illinois right now. I think they will get the message loud and clear.
