Police: Shot fired into Naperville church

An investigation is under way after a bullet was found in an unoccupied Naperville church near Interstate 88, police said.

According to a Naper Notify alert Monday, a bullet entered the north side of Highpoint Church at 1805 High Point Drive and traveled through several walls of the building.

Authorities believe the shot was fired from the area on or around I-88 between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning.
