Lake County board members to discuss recreational pot sales

Recommendations for proposed zoning amendments to permit adult-use cannabis businesses in unincorporated Lake County will be presented Wednesday at the county board's public works, planning and transportation committee meeting.

The presentation follows a 7-0 recommendation for approval with modifications by the Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals, following a public hearing last week.

The meeting starts at 8:30 a.m. The items are for discussion only and no final action will be taken.
