Corporate-tax fairy tale

If only there were indeed such evils things as "corporations" that exploited the common man and kept us from reaching an even greater state of prosperity than we currently enjoy rather than simple business organizations that are made up of the investments of a whole range of people. And to which those of even limited means are welcome to invest and share in the prosperity.

And if only it was then just a matter of raising their responsibility level in the way of extra taxes so that this egregious dynamic would finally be rectified, rather than the reality being that doing this simply reduces the income of those that invest in them as well as raising the costs of products that many purchase from them. Including those of limited means.

And a final if only would be regarding it simply requiring a "good man" to point out this disparity and correct things for the good of us all - once and for all - rather than the reality being that we've got an emperor with no clothes trying to sell this fairy tale yet again.
