Naperville police investigating shots fired near apartment complex

An investigation is under way after shots were fired early Thursday near an apartment complex on the west side of Naperville, according to a Naper Notify alert.

Officers responded just after 1 a.m. to the 1000 block of Fairway Drive, where they found a bullet inside an apartment and another outside the building, officials said. Nobody was injured.

Anyone with information about the gunshots is asked to call (630) 420-6666 and ask for the investigations division.
