Job well done

Congratulations and a job well done to the Joint Emergency Management System and Jewel Osco for the mass vaccination event (6,140 doses) for eleven suburbs which was recently held in the Schaumburg Convention Center.

My wife and I attended twice and got both our shots at this event. The planning and execution was thought-out in advance and both well organized and efficient.

I have been part of many large events over my years and have stood in many lines for concerts, sporting events, amusement parks and even to U.S. Army Vietnam combat operations - but this vaccination event was the best organized I have ever seen.

Getting a shot isn't fun, but this is the closest thing to a perfect event I have ever seen.

Thank You to the two organizations that were part of this life-saving event and also the 110 volunteers who made it work.
