Grains higher, livestock mixed

Wheat for May gained 12.50 cents at 6.2875 a bushel; May corn advanced 19.25 cents at 5.7975 a bushel, May oats was up 5.250 cents at $3.7675 a bushel; while May soybeans rose 6.50 cents at $14.1525 cents a bushel.
Beef was and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle rose 1 cent at $1.2415 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle was off .50 cent at $1.4712 a pound; while Apr. lean hogs was up .60 cent at $1.0347 a pound.
