Virtual gala for Palatine's The Bridge nonprofit
The Bridge Youth and Family Services nonprofit will have a virtual gala April 17 with musical entertainment, a cash raffle and silent auction, plus the option of three-course meals delivered to the homes of attendees.
The agency serves children up to age 17 and their families living in Palatine, Schaumburg, Barrington, Maine, Elk Grove and Hanover townships. The agency serves those who have experienced trauma and crisis and offers counseling, crisis intervention, youth mentoring and parent education.
"We warmly invite our community members to join us at our gala and learn more about the important and serious impact that services offered through The Bridge have on the lives of our young people and the greater community," Executive Director Gregg Stockey said in a news release.
The gala will feature a performance by the charitable rock band Liquidated Damages, a group of musicians from the construction company Leopardo Companies and its business partners.
The raffle's grand prize is $3,000, second place is $1,500 and third place is $500. Silent auction items include getaways, jewelry and a picnic basket.
Friday is the deadline to order a gala ticket with meal, at a cost of $125 per person or $250 per couple.
The deadline to purchase gala tickets at $50 each is 5 p.m. April 17.
