Rises to the top

Local libraries are the cornerstone of our communities. The Mount Prospect Public Library, including its beautiful building, professional staff, services, programs and collections, is a valuable asset. To keep our library vital and strong, it is important to have a board of trustees that supports the current foundation and has the vision to position the Library for the future.

In the upcoming election on April 6, Mount Prospect voters will have the opportunity to vote for two Board of Trustee positions. One candidate that rises to the top is Rosemary Groenwald.

Soon to be retired from a distinguished 33-plus year career at the Mount Prospect Public Library, Rosemary's many years of service provides her with a vast knowledge of library practices, services and trends, including budgetary and strategic planning experience, all of which make her uniquely qualified and an excellent candidate.

Rosemary Groenwald's passion for the Mount Prospect Library has never wavered during the more than 35 years that I have known her, both as a friend and as a fellow librarian. I believe she will be a positive, valuable addition if elected to the Mount Prospect Public Library board of trustees.
