March for Asian Lives in Arlington Heights rescheduled to Friday

Daily Herald report Due to expected inclement weather, a March for Asian Lives organized by students from Elk Grove High School has been rescheduled

The march is set to begin at 1 p.m. in the parking lot of Bakery Crescent, 270 E. Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights. Face coverings are required and attendees are encouraged to bring signs.

The event is being held to honor the victims of last week's deadly shootings at three Atlanta-area spas and support small Asian-owned businesses.

Eight people were killed, six of them Asian women, and one other person was injured in shootings at three spas or massage parlors March 16 in the Atlanta area.
