Wheat for May rose 6.50 cents at 6.45 a bushel; May corn advanced 10.50 cents at 5.4950 a bushel, May oats was off 1 cent at $3.7650 a bushel; while May soybeans was up 6.25 cents at $14.1950 a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle was up .12 cent at $1.1912 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle rose .67 cent at $1.3702 a pound; while Apr. lean hogs fell .85 cent at $.9055 a pound.
