Vaccination hardships

Why is it so complicated to find a nearby COVID-19 vaccination site in Kane County? Other counties set up a central enrollment/notification website. I spend hours each day looking for a vaccination location within a 20-mile radius, only to find "second dose only" or "no vaccines available within 25 miles for the next 3 days."

I learn of Aurora mass vax sites on the news, or sign up for a newsletter, learning later that while it was disclaimed as an enrollment source, it has become an enrollment/registration source by order of sign up.

I am 67, retired and will not travel to other locations where I normally would never go; I see those sites as designated for the people who live in that area.

Before the floodgates open to the general public, please get it together, Kane County. You have many closed retail locations to set up shop. If someone can open a pop up Halloween store, you should be able to do the same.
