The sometimes forgotten essential workers

There are many people who are forgotten when we speak of "essential workers." Our mail is delivered daily by Sang Kim, and I refer to him as essential. Likewise, Mark Kelly, who delivers our Daily Herald before the sun comes up. The people who worked on our heating or air conditioning systems. Individuals, like our son who leaves at 3 a.m. every day to make sure that equipment is stocked and available at Home Depot for necessary homeowner repairs. The auto repair shops, like Advanced Auto Repair in Palatine, that kept our cars running and the gas stations that sold us fuel.

Just ask anyone that needed those stores or individuals and they would all classify them as essential workers.

I was one of those and I would like to thank them all.
