Hinsdale Pediatrics joins Northbrook-based PediaTrust
NORTHBROOK - PediaTrust and Hinsdale Pediatrics Thursday said they will join forces in their efforts to provide high-quality medical care to pediatric patients.
In a health care market where large health systems dominate, independent pediatric practices provide parents and their children access to deeply personal medical care, PediaTrust said in a news release.
"We are very excited to take this step," said Dr. Mufadal Moosabhoy, one of the managing partners of Hinsdale Pediatrics. "We feel that the pediatric practices of PediaTrust are a great fit with very similar values and a passion to care for patients. Joining PediaTrust will allow us to expand the services we can provide while giving us the administrative and technological support we need to remain independent from hospital systems."
PediaTrust formed in 2012 when seven long-established pediatric practices united in their effort to provide world-class pediatric care while remaining independent. After the merger with Hinsdale Pediatrics, PediaTrust will now represent more than 80 clinicians in 12 pediatric groups with 21 locations throughout the Northern, Northwest and West suburbs.
Hinsdale Pediatrics was founded more than 50 years ago.
