Author Sarah Frey to discuss 'The Growing Season' in virtual event
Author Sarah Frey will appear April 20 as part of a virtual book club discussion sponsored by the Daily Herald and College of DuPage's McAninch Arts Center in Glen Ellyn.
Frey discusses her new book "The Growing Season: How I Saved an American Farm - And Built a New Life" with McAninch Arts Center director Diana Martinez at 7 p.m. that evening. A Q&A session follows. It's free, but advance registration is required.
Copies of the book are available at The Book Store of Glen Ellyn, 475 N. Main St. If customers mention the phrase "Growing Season Book Club," there is a 15% discount. For more information, visit atthemac.org.
