Watch candidates discuss issues in the race for Itasca village president

Watch the candidates for Itasca village president take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The half-hour exchange between candidates Thomas Pawlicki and incumbent Jeff J. Pruyn was recorded March 4 on Zoom. The candidates discussed issues ranging from long-term redevelopment goals to a controversy over plans for the location of a new data center.

The election takes place on April 6. Early in-person voting begins in Cook County on March 10 and in Lake County on March 12.
