Lake Zurich board candidates debate downtown development, referendum
Watch the candidates for Lake Zurich village trustee take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.
The 51-minute exchange between incumbent trustees Mary Beth Euker and Greg Weider and fellow candidates Dan Bobrowski, Eric Dubiel and Michael Paulus was recorded March 1 on Zoom. The candidates discussed issues ranging from the village's unsuccessful 2020 sales tax referendum, to downtown development to their thoughts on what the community needs and how the village can address it.
The election takes place on April 6. Mail-in and early in-person voting begins in Lake County on March 12.
