Watch debate between candidates for District 59 school board

Watch the five candidates for the school board in Elk Grove Township Elementary District 59 take part in a joint interview with a representative of the Daily Herald Editorial Board.

The 60-minute exchange between incumbents Janice Krinsky. Robert Mancilla and Mardell Schumacher and challengers Daisy Espino and Joseph Sagerer was recorded on Zoom on Feb. 24.

The election takes place on April 6. Mail-in voting begins on March 10, with early in-person voting to follow soon after.
