Maine Township teen missing since Feb. 5 located safely

A teenager reported missing early this month from a Maine Township group home has been located safely, the Cook County sheriff's office announced Tuesday.

Kianna Smith, 19, had last been seen leaving her residence, The Harbour House Group Home, at about 5:15 p.m. Feb. 5. She didn't return later that night, according to the sheriff's office.

Sheriff's police did not release any information Tuesday about where Smith was found or the circumstances of her being located.
