Free COVID-19 testing offered at west-side Aurora Habitat ReStore location

Free drive-through COVID-19 testing is now being offered in the parking lot of the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore, 2302 W. Indian Trail Road in Aurora. It began Feb. 19.

The public is invited. Contactless testing is offered from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Sunday. No appointment is necessary.

Clients should bring identification and insurance information. The test site is operated by Free Covid Care. Results are available in 48 to 72 hours.

In addition to a free, real-time diagnostic test for coronavirus infection, other tests available are a rapid antigen test for $79 and a COVID-19 antibody test for $59.

The west Aurora site joins two in Naperville, four in Chicago and one each in Bolingbrook, Lincolnwood, Lombard, Lansing and Hoffman Estates.
