Shirking shoveling
How can the village manage to plow in my driveway every single snowfall, leaving behind nearly a foot of ice chunks that I have to try and remove to get my car out - yet they leave the sidewalk in front of Evergreen Cemetery all along Dundee basically untouched, despite the fact kids have to walk on it to get to school? The homeowners are expected to clear their sidewalks, and most of us do. But not the village sidewalks? I'm a senior citizen and really tired of this inequity. Get on the shovel, village.
