Season outlook: Hampshire's Eric Samuelson summed up the sentiments of many coaches. "We're incredibly proud of the commitment all of our young ladies have shown since May over Zoom and when allowed, in person. As an entire program, we are looking forward to making the most of our time together, forming stronger relationships on and off the court, staying healthy and getting better as a team each practice. Really thankful for this opportunity to get back in the gym." It's going to take that kind of perspective to enjoy this season and not dwell on what's missing - especially with so many local teams poised for what could have been sectional-winning, or better, seasons. Aurora Christian is certainly in that group along with Geneva, Dundee-Crown, Bartlett and Burlington Central.
