Frustrated seniors in need of vaccine

I am 91 years old, my wife is 92. Each of us has several medical challenges. I walk with the support of a cane, my wife uses a walker. Since March of last year, we have isolated ourselves in order to do what we think is right to avoid COVID-19. Our groceries and other necessities are delivered to us and placed in our garage. We carefully cleanse everything with Clorox wipes and Lysol before bringing the items into the house.

We have a large family, including a new grandchild and a new great-grandchild. We would love to hold and cuddle these two new family additions, along with the rest of the family members, but we are restricted because of the fact that we cannot get the necessary vaccine to keep us from getting the COVID-19, or any of the new strains that seem to be developing.

We, like so many other "oldsters" have tried every place reported to be open for registration and/or appointment making without success. The fact is that we are stonewalled by each of these sources, either by complete rejection of our questions or a statement that "we don't know" when a vaccine might be available.

I look for suggestions from any source as to how we might proceed on a positive level to register and or make an appointment for some date in the future so that we might eventually get the vaccine that we so desperately want to get.
