A politician with integrity
I read with interest the Sunday Think Piece on Adam Kinziger and I have to say that he is one of the very few Republicans that I would actually vote for.
His willingness to speak out against the "Big Lie" of the stolen election, and his vote to impeach Trump, show me that he has the courage and conviction to vote his conscience, even if he gets voted out of office. This, in contrast to most of the other Republicans in Congress, who won't vote for impeachment on the argument that to do so would be unconstitutional. Those Republicans are afraid of losing their jobs and are willing to sell their soul to the devil rather than be voted out of office.
My opinion is that Trump richly deserves to be impeached for not only inciting the Capitol riot, but for so many other reasons as well. I admire Mr. Kinziger's determination to be one of the few in his party to actually do the right thing in the face of strong opposition from others.
