Lake Villa library reopens

The Lake Villa District Library, at 140 N. Munn Road in Lindenhurst, reopened Monday for limited in-person service.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday; and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Visits are limited to 30-minutes per person, per day, and all library safety mitigations will remain in place.

Public computers and notary service will be available; however, study rooms and public seating areas remain closed. Materials return, curbside pickup and remote printing will continue, and staff will be available to answer reference questions by phone or online. For more information, visit www.lvdl.org.
