Is Markkanen growing? Bulls' Finnish forward isn't sure

Has Lauri Markkanen grown?
The previously 7-foot Finland native was noncommittal when asked about being called 7-foot-1 during pregame introductions.
It's not clear if this measurement change is official. Saturday's game notes still list him at an even 7-feet.
"I was without shoes seven feet, so I guess it is 7-1 when I get measured with shoes on," Markkanen said after Saturday's shootaround. "Uh, maybe it's my hair, I don't know."
As for his reaction to being announced at 7-1, Markkanen didn't have one.
"To be honest, I didn't even hear it," he said. "My buddy texted me so that's how I knew. I didn't pay attention to that, but I'm glad I grew, apparently. It depends on the day, what time we're measuring."
