Itasca Bank & Trust promotes two banking executives

ITASCA — The Itasca Bank & Trust Co. has announced two recent promotions. Mark Stelter, vice president and commercial lender, was promoted to director of community association lending. Natalie Wojtowicz was promoted to operations officer. This new officer title is in addition to her existing title of Roselle branch manager.

Stelter's tenure with the bank spans over 20 years. Throughout that time, the Itasca resident has been actively involved as a volunteer in the Community Association Institute, the United Way of Chicago (West Cook /DuPage), the DuPage Public Action to Deliver Shelter (P.A.D.S.) and the Itasca Lions Club.

Prior to joining Itasca Bank & Trust Co., he spent 17 years at Harris Bank Roselle; the last six years as a commercial lender.

“Mark has done an incredible job of managing our Homeowners Association portfolio and relationships over the years,” said James R. Mensching, president. “We are excited about the future of this growing team in our Community Association Lending area.”

As a lifelong resident of DuPage County, Stelter graduated from Glenbard West High School. He attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, graduating with a bachelor's degree in law enforcement administration in 1986. He obtaining his MBA from Benedictine University in Lisle in 1992.

Wojtowicz graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a business management degree. She began her career as a teller with Itasca Bank immediately after graduation in 2013 and has held the positions of assistant teller manager and assistant branch manager.

“Natalie's banking knowledge and leadership abilities are strong assets for the Bank,” Mensching said. “Her steady career growth reflects the bank's strategic plan of offering an excellent teaching environment where there are opportunities to learn more and do more while promoting from within wherever practical.”

Wojtowicz resides in Algonquin.
