Northwestern Mutual-Chicago names Kortney Giannetti director of strategic development

Northwestern Mutual-Chicago has elevated Kortney (Baeseman) Giannetti to director of strategic development, a newly created position with the Chicago-based financial planning firm.

"Kortney has been a valued member of our executive leadership team, driving our firm's strategic growth initiatives," said Corey D. McQuade, managing partner. "She has partnered alongside me to bring our firm's vision to life. She has worked passionately to transform our recruiting culture and create the framework for an unparalleled internship program."

In her new role, Giannetti will lead a team to develop and implement key growth initiatives for the Chicago-based financial planning firm, including attracting diverse and inclusive advisers, providing a compelling internship experience, developing existing and emerging leaders and accelerating the growth of next-generation advisors.

Giannetti joined Northwestern Mutual-Chicago in 2017, was named executive strategy manager in 2019, and director of strategic development in 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Loyola University Chicago.
