Naperville nature center offering winter activities
The Knoch Knolls Nature Center in Naperville is offering take-home, outdoor and virtual activities through March.
Nature discovery kits are available for purchase each month, providing families with nature-themed crafts and materials to use at home, according to the Naperville Park District.
Virtual Bingo takes place on various Thursday evenings throughout the winter, with each event highlighting a different topic, officials said. During virtual storytime programs, a naturalist will read a story, show off a live animal at the nature center and provide an at-home activity.
Residents also can sign for free hikes on select days through the winter.
