Veto police bill

Gov. Pritzker needs to veto the latest bill regarding police reform. This bill, if passed as amended, would curtail law enforcement's ability to keep communities safe.

Just look at the recent news reports so far this year - carjackings have increased to multiple thefts and assaults per day. As reported in the Daily Herald on Jan. 19, there were several carjackings in the suburbs over the weekend alone.

In Aurora, there have been four people killed in the last two weeks.

By passing this amendment, it allows criminals to increase their wrongdoing, and gives little support to victims.
