Libertyville Days runs through June 18 with a parade, music, food and carnival

The village of Libertyville's annual Libertyville Days Festival is underway. The event runs through June 18 in downtown Libertyville.

Funds raised by the festival go to support the Libertyville Civic Center Foundation. Most events will take place at 135 W. Church St. and in Cook Park, 413 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville.

The festival includes a parade, carnival, arts and crafts fair, food, beer garden and more.

Carnival hours are noon to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Unlimited ride specials are available from noon to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday for $33, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday for $30.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday on Milwaukee Avenue and continue north from the Metra Train Station to Rockland Road. It will feature marching bands, horses and community floats.

Each day, Church Street Eats will offer food from a variety of local vendors on West Church Street, between Brainerd and Milwaukee avenues. The beer garden will be open from 4 p.m. to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Main Stage musical performances will include Soul Kitchen at 4 p.m. and Sneezy at 8 p.m. Friday; Gizzae at noon, Uncle Pigeon at 2:30 p.m., Jimmy Nick at 5:30 p.m. and Marlon & the Shakes at 8 p.m. Saturday; and Mellencougar at noon and Lady A at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
