Growing Tree Preschool offers virtual open house Jan. 20
The Gurnee Park District's Growing Tree Preschool will host a virtual open house for prospective students and their families at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20.
Those interested in attending can RSVP at www.surveymonkey.com/r/GTPOH21. A Zoom link will then be sent to participants to login.
Growing Tree Preschool's Virtual Open House will include a circle time for future and current students to engage with others. Once circle time has ended, families will be able to go into break out rooms based on the age of their child.
Break out rooms will provide the opportunity for parents to ask questions and get to know Growing Tree Preschool teachers and staff.
Circle time is an opportunity for children to participate, get ready for their day and improve their listening skills. At Growing Tree Preschool, circle time typically includes the Pledge of Allegiance, days of the week, daily weather, song or story.
Safety continues to be of upmost priority at Growing Tree Preschool. Throughout the pandemic, it has made adjustments in order to keep children, families and teachers as safe as possible. New safety protocols include face coverings, additional cleaning of materials and personal supply boxes for each child. All COVID-19 related safety protocols can be found in this year's parent handbook.
