Naperville interfaith prayer service to be held virtually
Naperville's 17th annual interfaith prayer service for peace will be held virtually this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the theme, "From Tragedy and Division to Hope," the event begins at 2 p.m. Sunday with short videos from more than 10 local faith communities broadcast via Zoom, organizers said. A keynote presentation will be given by Dr. Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith Youth Core and a national leader in areas of religious diversity, civic engagement, racial equality and interfaith cooperation.
Several religious organizations from throughout the DuPage County area are co-sponsoring the event.
To receive a Zoom link to the service, email a request to interfaithactivities@smmp.com.
