Hand2mind donates $650,000 in school supplies

VERNON HILLS - Hand2mind, an award-winning educational resource company, said it recently made a $650,000 donation of hands-on resources to the Kids in Need Foundation. The foundation, located in Roseville, Minnesota, provides free school supplies to teachers and students for distribution to families in need.

The donation of readers, books, and math and science school resources is earmarked for Chicago-area students and is one of the largest donations ever made by the company to Kids in Need Foundation, said Leslie Lee, marketing director of hand2mind.

"With 2020 behind us, we want to make sure that our community partners start the new year with the materials they need to serve families struggling with this unique school year," Lee said.
