Shameful, not stimulus

The stimulus bill is a total embarrassment to the U.S. and our Congress. Billions of dollars to other countries and millions of dollars to organizations in the U.S. which have absolutely nothing to do with the virus. Yet the bill only throws crumbs, $600, to each American.

The secret negotiations of the bill which took too long to finalize should have been televised. There is nothing on the bill that deals with any aspect of criminality (although some people think giving monies to some of the proposed recipients of the bill is criminal), nor does the bill have anything to do with national security. Televising the negotiations would have let the U.S. citizens know which side was holding up benefits and which side was trying to insert non related expenditures in the bill and probably would have sped up putting the bill on the floor of Congress. It would have been a win/win for the US.
