GOP judge candidate sues to overturn results

Park Ridge attorney Frank DiFranco filed lawsuits in Cook County and federal court, alleging misconduct and over-counting, according to the Pioneer Press. He also is seeking monetary damages of more than $100,000.

Results posted by the Cook County clerk's office show Glenview Democrat Patricia Fallon won the race in the 12th Subcircuit, which includes parts of Elk Grove, Maine and Wheeling townships, by 502 votes.

Fallon's campaign committee said DiFranco's lawsuit contained "meritless conspiracy theories," the Pioneer Press reported.
