COVID-19 testing in Kane County

The Illinois Department of Public Health will offer COVID-19 mobile testing several times this month in Kane County.

Tests will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. while supplies last: Jan. 16 at Hampshire High School, 1600 Big Timber Road; Jan. 17 and Jan. 24 at Elgin Sports Complex, 709 Sports Way; Jan. 23 at Dundee Crown High School, 1500 Kings Road, Carpentersville.

Testing is free and open to all regardless of symptoms. A phone number and name are required to receive testing results. Photo ID is not required.

A nasal swab is used to detect a current COVID-19 infection. Test results are expected in four to seven calendar days.
