Disbelief on Barr

I had to do a double take when I saw Debra J. Saunders' Dec. 23 op-ed headline: "Barr's mission was justice, not aiding or hindering Trump." Had Saunders decided to shift gears and start writing satire? I decided to read on and find out. Alas, I was mistaken, as was Ms. Saunders. She went on to write, I assume with a straight face, "Barr was no wingman." The same Barr who lied to the American people about the Mueller report to cover for Trump? The same Barr who directed the gassing of peaceful protesters for Trump's strange, awkward, and offensive photo-op at the church? The same Barr who, in the months leading up to the election, claimed - with no evidence- that mail-in voting would lead to widespread fraud in an attempt to help Trump's election chances? Perhaps, I missed the joke, but now that I think about it, I did find myself laughing. In disbelief.
